Diabetes Self-management Education Not being Utilized

I am not surprised that diabetes
self-management education is underused or not utilized at the level
many educators think it is. To begin with; there are too few
certified diabetes educators (CDEs). As explained in my blog here,
most are located in or near large populations and in the Washington
DC to Boston corridor (Northeast Corridor). Out here in the
